TYPE IW-R (IMPACT WEFT WITH REGULAR WARP CORDS)

IW-R conveyor belts, having a steel cable mesh, are impact resistant and can be used in a temperature range of -25˚C…max.150ºC. They are used for transport over long distances or for splicing with steel cord conveyor belts. Special steel cords are used to give an adequate behavior at compression, a favorable elongation and a good tearing resistance.

Belt Widths and Edges

The widths are between 500-1600 mm for conveyor belts with moulded edges.
